Mr. Michael Britt, of Lumber Bridge departed this life on April 19, 2021 at his home completing his journey of 57 years. He was born in Robeson County on May 4, 1963 to Ms. Joyce Owens Britt and the late Tommy Lee Britt. Mr. Britt loved to party and have fun with his family and friends. He loved music, his bird Flo, and walking. He loved to say “I’m a real soldier.” To cherish his memory he leaves four children, Jennifer Britt (Richard) of Red Springs, Ashley Britt (Sin), Amy Britt (Chris), and Michaela Britt (Jonathan) all of Lumber Bridge; four grandchildren, Jamont Smith, Christopher Morgan, Angelia Morgan and Ariana Evans; his mother, Joyce Owens Britt of St. Pauls; sisters, Cathy Sims and Shannon Sims of St. Pauls; a brother Jacob Britt of St. Pauls; a special friend Kevin McMillan of Lumber Bridge; and a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and family and friends. Meeting him in the after-life is his father Tommy Lee Britt; special friend Ms. Vicky Britt; and his brother Earl Lee Britt.

A visitation will be held Wednesday, April 21, 2021 from 6:00 pm - 8:00 pm at McNeill Mackie Funeral Home.

A funeral service will be held Thursday, April 22, 2021 at 2:00 pm at McNeill Mackie Funeral Home with Pastor Eddie Watford officiating. Burial to follow in Oak Ridge Cemetery in St. Pauls.
