Barbara Davidson

Barbara Carolyn Davidson, 80, of Summerville, wife of the late Neil James Davidson, passed away on Wednesday, February 17, 2021 at MUSC.
Family and friends are invited to attend her visitation on Sunday, February 21, 2021 from 12:30 pm to 2 o’clock at James A. Dyal Funeral Home, Summerville, SC.  A funeral service will begin at 3 o’clock at Dorchester Presbyterian, 10290 Dorchester Rd., Summerville, SC 29485. A Graveside Service will be held at Rex Presbyterian Church Cemetery, Rex, North Carolina, Tuesday February 23, 2021 at 3:00 pm.

Carolyn was born on December 29, 1940 in Rex, NC, daughter of the late Jack and Barbara Crenshaw. She was a member of Dorchester Presbyterian Church and The Mayflower society. She maintained her Registered Nurse license up until she passed away.
Survivors include: two sons: James “Patrick” Davidson (Michelle) of Summerville and Edward “Brian” Davidson (Heather) of Charleston; five grandchildren: Mollie, William, Shaw, Reid, and Gray: and sister: Lorraine Norton (Charles) of Wilmington, NC. In addition to her late husband Neil and parents she was predeceased by three siblings: Edward Crenshaw, Jack Crenshaw, and Connie Herring.
