Benjamin Shaw, Jr.

Benjamin "Franklin" Shaw, Jr., 78, of Rex, NC died Friday January 17, 2014 in his home with his family at his side. A Graveside Service is scheduled for Monday January 20, 2014 at 2:00 PM in Rex Presbyterian Church Cemetery, with a visitation in the Church Fellowship Hall one hour prior to the service and at other times at the home at 2318 Shaw Road. He was born April 15, 1935 to his loving parents, the late Ben and Pocahontas Shaw. He worked with Milliken in Red Springs for 30 years and with the Robeson County Water Department for 22 years. He is survived by his wife of 60 years Ethelene Johnson Shaw; daughters, Carmen Tumelson and her husband Terry and Jane McNeill and her husband David; grandchildren, Margaret Carlene Finley, Joseph Franklin Shaw, Kimberly Jane McNeill, Mitchell David McNeill and Karrie Elizabeth Tumelson.
