Carol Denise Owens, age 66 of Oak Island was born July 29, 1958 to Eugene and Martha Owens and departed this life on April 7, 2025 at Novant Health Brunswick Hospital in Bolivia.

Carol is proceeded in death by her father, Eugene Owens and brother, Brian Owens.

Carol leaves to cherish her memories and mourn her passing, her significant other, Ricky Vance Thomas; her mother, Martha Sheeks and husband Skip; one son, Ricky Given Thomas; one grandson, Xavier Thomas and a host of other loving family and friends.
