Charity Ann Caines

Charity Ann Allen Caines, age 75, of St. Pauls, NC was born February 17, 1948 to the late Furnie Melton Allen, Sr. and Margie Jackson Allen and departed this life, May 17, 2023 at UNC Health Southeastern in Lumberton.

In addition to her parents, Charity is preceded in death by her husband, William Clyde Caines; one son, Timothy Smith and one brother, Furnie Allen.

Charity leaves to cherish her memories, three sons, Carl Smith (Marie Dowdy) of Summerville, SC, Samuel “Sammy” Smith (Linda) of St. Pauls and Richard Caines of Kansas City, Missouri; two daughters, Rebecca Caines of Winston Salem and Michelle Caines of Tennessee; one sister, Brenda Gray of St. Pauls; a special friend, Cynthia Smith of St. Pauls; four grandchildren, Allen Smith, Jonathan Smith, Allie Smith and Sheena Reaves; five great-grandchildren and a host of other relatives and friends.
