Charlie James Efird, Sr.

Charlie James Efird, Sr. age 85 of Hope Mills was born August 20, 1939 in Robeson Co. to the late Adam James and Annie Mae Efird and departed this life on February 5, 2025 at his residence.

In addition to his parents, Charlie is preceded in death by his wife, Irma Efird; one son, Andrew Donuhue; two brothers, Earnest Efird and Alfred Efird.

Charlie leaves to cherish his memories a son, Charlie Efird, Jr. and wife, Carol of Parkton; three daughters, Annie Efird of Hope Mills, Mary Laforet and husband, Larry of Fayetteville and Irma Battersby of Parkton; three brothers, Thomas Efird of Parkton, Jerry Efird and Eugene Efird both of St. Pauls; 17 grandchildren; 29 great grandchildren; his special pet dog, Hercules and a host of other relatives and friends.
