Charlotte Ann Ivey

Charlotte Ann Owens Ivey, age 86 of Fayetteville was born April 8, 1938 in Robeson Co. to the late Albert and Pauline W. Owens and departed this life for her heavenly home on December 22, 2024 at Village Green Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Fayetteville.

In addition to her parents, Charlotte is preceded in death by her husband, Lacy E. Ivey; one brother, Fred Owens and three sisters, Helen Barefoot, Sarah Shaw and Carolyn Howard.

Charlotte is survived by one daughter, Melinda Stephens and husband, Larry of Huntsville, Alabama; two grandchildren, Brett Stephens and wife Kate of Fort Worth, Texas and Ashley McDuff and husband, Patrick of Warrior, Alabama; five great grandchildren, Abigail, Evelyn, Charlotte Anne, Cora and Griffin; one sister, Margaret Berry and husband, Guy of Fayetteville and a host of other relatives and friends.

In lieu of flowers, a memorial in memory of Charlotte can be made to Carroll Memorial Baptist Church, 2220 Camden Rd., Fayetteville, NC 28306 or St. Judes Children’s Hospital, 262 Danny Thomas Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
