Danny R. Davis, 58, Linden, North Carolina died 12/20/2010 at Betsy Johnson Regional Hospital in Dunn, NC. He was born 12/18/1952 in Greenville, NC to the late Selby and Mary Hamilton Davis. For most of his work life he was employed by Franklin Sunbeam Bread and, most recently, as a driver for Highland Paving Co. He is survived by his wife Paula H. Davis; daughters, Joy Blount and Jennifer Wilkerson; sons, Scott and Danny Davis, Jr.; Step-daughters, Rolanda Hayes, April Long, and Lora Jaggers; sisters, Lois Brantley and Joyce Bissette; 14 grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his first wife Joyce McFee Davis. Visitation will be at McNeill Mackie Funeral Home 12/23/2010 starting at 1:00 P.M. with a Memorial Service scheduled at 2:00 P.M.
