David Tart

David Clyde Tart, 58, of St. Pauls departed this life Tuesday September 7, 2021 at Southeastern Hospice House in Lumberton. He was born November 1, 1962 in Fayetteville, NC to Betty Arnette Tart and Jesse Tart. He enjoyed fishing and watching sports especially the Dallas Cowboys. He was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, William Clyde and Velma Hall Arnette and his paternal grandparents, Elizabeth Eanes and Nathan Tart. He is survived by his mother Betty Arnette Tart; father, Jesse Tart (Kathy); sister, Carolyn Tart; brothers, Eric Tart, Michael Tart and Jesse Tart; aunts, Dorothy Arnette Moore, Evelyn Arnette Walters (Neal), Becky Tart, and Diane Tart Ogni; uncle, Nathan Tart; nieces, Haley and Anna Tart; nephew, Mason Tart and many cousins. A Graveside funeral service will be held Friday September 10, 2021 at 11:00 am at Great Marsh Baptist Church Cemetery with Pastor Steve Swann officiating. The family suggests memorial contributions be made to McNeill Mackie Funeral Home to help with funeral expenses, in lieu of flowers. The family is being served by McNeill Mackie Funeral Home of St. Pauls.
