Delbert Lee Kinlaw, 83, of St. Pauls died Wednesday September 27, 2017. He was born in Bladen County, NC May 8, 1934 to the late Furney Craven Kinlaw and Ella Jane Guyton. He worked as a Section Man in the textile industry for Burlington Mills. He was a Deacon at First Baptist Church in St. Pauls and could be counted on to help with many projects. His brother, Hubert, said “Delbert was the good one of the bunch”. Preceded in death by his parents, Craven and Ella Kinlaw; and brothers, Brady Kinlaw and Jimmy Kinlaw, he is survived by his wife of 64 years, Edith Kinlaw; daughters, Debbie Allen and Cindy Hedgepeth; sons, Charles Kinlaw and his wife Linda and Randy Kinlaw and his wife Belinda; 12 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren; sister, Hilda Faye Hall; and brother, Hubert Kinlaw. A visitation is scheduled for Saturday September 30, 2017 from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM at McNeill Mackie Funeral Home of St. Pauls. The funeral service will be Sunday October 1, 2017 at 3:00 PM at the First Baptist Church in St. Pauls with the Reverend Pat Hash and Reverend Bruce Skipper officiating.
