Denise Penfield

Denise McDuffie Penfield, 56, of St. Pauls, North Carolina, died Saturday June 6, 2015 at Southeastern Hospice House in Lumberton. A visitation will be held Monday June 8, 2015 from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM at McNeill Mackie Funeral Home of St. Pauls. Funeral services are scheduled for Tuesday June 9, 2015 at 11:00 AM in McNeill Mackie Funeral Home Chapel with the Reverend Don Goforth officiating. Burial will follow in Great Marsh Baptist Church cemetery. A homemaker, she was born October 4, 1958, a daughter of the late Daniel Weldon McDuffie, Jr. and Sally Barefoot McDuffie.  She is survived by her husband, Tommy Penfield; sons, Ryan Penfield and his wife Shylo, of Kirkland, Washington and Stephen Penfield and his wife Misty, of Maggie Valley, North Carolina; 6 grandchildren, Amy, Casey, Faith, Serenity, Brook, and Cole; and her brother, Tommy McDuffie.
