Derek Levesque

Derek Scott Levesque, 30, of Bessemer, Alabama died November 19, 2017. He was born in Anchorage, Alaska February 13, 1987, a son of David Bruce Levesque and Bonnie Smith Levesque. Having served in the United States Marine Corps as a member of the Counter-Terrorism unit in Dijouti, Africia, he was employed as an automotive mechanic at the time of his death. He is known for his kindness and loved by friends and his Marine Corps buddies. Preceded in death by his paternal grandfather, Raymond Levesque, Sr., he is survived by his mother, Bonnie Smith Levesque and father, David Bruce Levesque; brother, Jayme F. Erb; paternal grandmother, Eileen Levesque; maternal grandparents, William E. and Dorothy C. Smith; uncles, Mark, Keith and Dwight Smith and Raymond Levesque, Jr.; aunts, Maureen Levesque and Marie Trippett; and cousin, Jeremy Smith. A Celebration of Life Memorial Service will be held Saturday December 9, 2017 at 3:00 PM at McNeill Mackie Funeral Home, 319 W. Broad Street, St. Pauls, NC with the Reverend Pat Hash officiating.
