Dolores Shute

Dolores Joan Thompson Shute, 87, formerly of Bladenboro died September 2, 2020. She was born November 20, 1932, in Detroit, MI, to the late Alan Thompson and Dorothy Eliott. She was a homemaker who loved yard work, gardening, and her chickens. She was a Nascar fan and her favorite driver was Jeff Gordan; and she especially loved spending time with her grandsons. Preceded in death by her husband, Thomas Shute, she is survived by daughter, Rolando Mullis, son Gary Shute, and grandsons, Nicholas Alioto II, and Ryker Thomas Mullis. A visitation is scheduled for Saturday, September 5, 2020 from 11:00 am to 12:00 pm at Faith Baptist Church, 15976 NC Highway 53 W, White Oak, NC 28399, with a funeral service scheduled at 12:00 pm, also, at the church, with the Reverend Charleston Guyton officiating.
