Douglas Harris, Sr.

Douglas Shane Harris Sr., 48, of Fayetteville, earned his angel wings August 25, 2017. He fought a long battle with Leukemia. A true hero and warrior, he always had a smile and a joke with an Infectious laugh. Doug and his wife Tammy were married for 27 years. They had four children, five grandchildren and two on the way. He loved each and every one with his whole heart. He had a huge heart. Family was his life. Doug enjoyed motorcycles, fishing and coaching softball. He coached his children’s softball teams and was looking forward to coaching his grandkids. Doug is survived by his wife of 27 years, Tammy; his four children, Casey Musselwhite (Eugene Millard), Doug S. Harris Jr. (Melly Hernandez), Jessica Osborne, Mary Harris (Tanner Spry); grandchildren, Anthony Jr., Bentley, Brantley, Danielle, Theresa and two on the way. Funeral Services are scheduled for Sunday 8/27/2017 at 3:00 PM at Eureka Baptist Church with a visitation being held one hour prior to the service, from 2:00-3:00 PM at the church. Burial will follow in Oak Ridge Cemetery, St. Pauls. He will forever be loved and missed by all. My hero, my baby, my soulmate. I’ve got you hunny, always and forever in my heart.
