Earnest Carroll

Mr. Earnest Carroll, 76 of St. Pauls, NC was born April 22, 1945 in Bladen Co., NC to the late Mr. George Gilbert and Martha Etta Carroll and departed this life, December 13, 2021 at the North Carolina State Veterans Home in Fayetteville.

Mr. Carroll was retired from the North Carolina Army National Guard and after retirement he continued working as a OTR Truck Driver. Mr. Carroll had a love for horses, fishing, truck driving with his brother along with gardening and woodworking.

In addition to his parents, Mr. Carroll is preceded in death by a brother, George “Frank” Carroll.

Mr. Carroll leaves to cherish his memories, his wife, Jean Jackson Carroll of the home, two sons, Anthony Carroll and wife, Kimberly and Bryan Carroll and wife Amanda all of St. Pauls; one daughter, Tammy Smith and husband, Jimmy of Cedar Creek; two brothers, Rob Carroll and wife Linda of Hope Mills and Woodrow Carroll and wife Sue of St. Pauls; one sister, Eunice Carroll of Eastover; grandchildren, Bryleigh Carroll, Katelin Carroll, Michael Bass, Jr., Chasity Bass and Andrew (Ashton) Britt; great grandchildren, Kayden, Nina, Jayden and Weston; several nieces, nephews, and cousins; special friends of the family, Marvin Bently, Gene Walters, Bobby Evans and Paul Fields and a host of other relatives and friends.
