Edna Lucille Lambert Stellwag, 88, of Fayetteville, formerly of St. Pauls, died Tuesday July 2, 2019. She was born November 9, 1930 in Robeson County to the late Joseph P. and Blanche Parker Lambert. She was a fabric inspector in the textile industry and a member of Great Marsh Baptist Church. In addition to her parents, Joseph and Blanche Lambert, she was preceded in death by her brother, Joseph P. “Buck” Lambert, Jr. She is survived by her daughter, Phyllis Johnson McDuffie and her husband, Carl; son, William Carey “Dickie” Johnson III and his wife, Gayle; sister, Ann Lambert Allsbrook; grandchildren, Teresa Mercer and her husband Dale, Carla Commander, Matthew T. Johnson, Brian Johnson and his wife Leslie and Neil Johnson and his wife Mandy; great grandchildren, Allie and Cameron Commander, Emma Johnson, Carrington, Vance and Hunter Johnson, special niece, Wendy Allsbrook Javier and her husband Rob and her son, Elias. There will be a visitation Friday July 5, 2019 from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm at McNeill Mackie Funeral Home of St. Pauls, with a funeral service scheduled for Saturday July 6, 2019 at 11:00 am also, at McNeill Mackie Funeral Home of St. Pauls, with The Reverend Don Goforth officiating. The family suggests memorial contributions be made to the Eastern Association of Diabetes, 1300 Baxter St., Charlotte, NC 28204 or Cape Fear Hospice, 1830 Owen Drive, Ste. 203, Fayetteville, NC 28304.
