Edward Britt

Edward Arnold Britt, 63, of St. Pauls, North Carolina died Friday February 17, 2017 at Southeastern Regional Medical Center in Lumberton, NC. He was born in Robeson County, NC on August 10, 1953, a son of the late James Edward and Avis Tyner Britt. A local business man, he owned and operated an auto body repair shop for many years. He is survived by his wife of 41 years, Marilyn Britt; two sons, James Britt and his wife Shauntae of Wadesboro and Marshall Britt of St. Pauls; one daughter, Teresa Britt of St. Pauls; eight grandchildren, Daniel Peacher, Brittany Britt, Christopher Britt, Aaron Britt, Kaitlyn Britt, Isaiah Ivey, Elijah Britt and Layla Britt; three brothers, Bill Britt of Lumberton, Wayne Britt of Sanford, and Dennis Britt of St. Pauls; three sisters, Mary Freeman of Cummings, GA, Carol Willoughby of Lumberton, and May Britt of St. Pauls; a dear friend, Gene Walters of St. Pauls; and a host of family and friends.

A visitation is scheduled for Monday February 20, 2017 from 6:00-7:30 PM at McNeill Mackie Funeral Home of St. Pauls with a funeral service following at 7:30 PM at the funeral home. Burial will be in Oak Ridge Cemetery, St. Pauls, NC Tuesday February 21, 2017 at 11:00 AM. Arrangements by McNeill Mackie Funeral Home of St. Pauls.
