Eleanor Grace Byrd Vasquez

Eleanor Grace Byrd Vasquez, age 91 of St. Pauls was born December 27, 1931 in Robeson Co. to the late Pink Byrd and Florence Sibbett Byrd and departed this life to her eternal home on December 6, 2023 at Woodhaven Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Lumberton.

In addition to her parents, Eleanor was preceded in death by her husbands, Charles Walters and Rosendo Vasquez; one sister, Bobbie Bramble and two brothers, Donald Byrd and Jimmy F. Terry.

Eleanor leaves to cherish her memories and mourn her passing, one daughter, JoAnn Walters Lyde of Lumberton; two grandchildren, Charles Brown and wife Amanda of Linden and Teresa Brown Locklear of St. Pauls; one sister, Jewell Terry Roberts of Hope Mills; two brothers, McClure “Buck’ Terry of St. Pauls and Billy Terry of Hope Mills; 5 great grandchildren; 5 great great grandchildren and a host of other relatives and friends. 

Eleanor loved her family and enjoyed traveling across the United States.
