Elsie Lee McRainey Barnhill, 81, of St. Pauls, died Monday 8/22/2011 at Carolina Rehabilitation Center. She was born to the late Edward Pace and Sarah Council McRainey on June 5, 1930. Preceded in death by a son, Eddie Barnhill, she is survived by a son, Joseph M. Barnhill, Jr. and many nieces, nephews and cousins. She was involved in many St. Pauls civic duties and had served as the Manager of the Meals on Wheels nutrition center as well as working at the Library. Visitation will be at McNeill Mackie Funeral Home, St. Pauls Tuesday 8/23/2011 from 7—9 PM with a graveside service scheduled for Wednesday 8/24/2011 at 11 AM at Green Springs Baptist Church Cemetery, Parkton.
