Ernest "Porky" Ray

Ernest Eugene "Porky" Ray, 65, of St. Pauls, North Carolina died Monday January 27, 2015 in Southeastern Regional Medical Center in Lumberton. A native of Robeson County, NC, he was born December 8, 1949 to the late Ernest LB and Mable Ganus Ray. He was an automotive mechanic.  He is survived by his wife Darlene Ray; sister, Nancy Smith and her husband Tony; brothers, Charles Ray and his partner Mary Lee Williams, Danny Ray and his wife Kim, and Donnie Ray and his wife Veronica; son, Dustin Ray; daughter, Ashley Ray; step-daughter, Kelli Haines; one grandchild, Jericho Johnson; aunt Mildred Ivey; 7 nephews and 5 nieces. A visitation is scheduled for Friday January 30, 2015 from 10:00 AM-12:00 Noon in McNeill Mackie Funeral Home of St. Pauls with funeral services at 12:00 noon in the funeral home chapel, with Reverend Steven Keesecker, Sr. of New Beginnings Church of God officiating. Burial will follow in Oak Ridge Cemetery.  Arrangements by McNeill Mackie Funeral Home of St. Pauls.
