Ethel Mae Suggs Quinn

Ethel Mae Suggs Quinn, age 77 of Parkton, NC was born March 5, 1947 in Robeson Co. to the late Archie and Ella D. Suggs and departed this life on February 5, 2025 at UNC Health Southeastern in Lumberton. 

In addition to her parents, Mae is preceded in death by her husband of nearly 58 years, Thomas Lee Quinn; two brothers, William Marvin Suggs and Billy Suggs, three sisters, Eula Mae Robbins, Juanita Cooke and Thelma Suggs along with numerous other relatives. 

Mae leaves to cherish her memories, two daughters, Deborah Quinn of Hope Mills and Patricia Wall and husband, Eric of Hertford; three sisters, Margaret Ann (Jody) Davis of St. Pauls, Betty Jean Davis of Hope Mills and Peggy Barber of Linden; two grandsons, Steven Wall and wife, Kori of Virginia Beach, Va. and Kevin Wall of Orlando, Fl., along with a host of other relatives and friends.

Mae graduated from St. Pauls High School in 1966 and furthered her education at Midlands Technical Institute in Columbia, SC earning her diploma in Practical Nursing. Mae worked as an LPN for Cape Fear Valley Hospital for 2o years. Mae was a proud supportive Army wife and loving mother and grandmother.
