Frank Fleming, Jr.

Frank Odel Fleming, Jr., 85, of St. Pauls, North Carolina died Sunday December 5, 2010 at Southeastern Regional Medical Center in Lumberton. A native of Fairmont, West Virginia he was born April 16, 1925 to the late Frank O. Fleming, Sr. and Margaret Julia Cowan Fleming.  Mr. Fleming was the manager of Ford Funeral Homes R.C. Jones Chapel in Fairmont from 1966 until his retirement in 2001. He was a licensed West Virgininia Funeral Director/Embalmer for 55 years. He was a World War II veteran of the U.S. Army Air Force and held membership in the West Virginia Funeral Directors Association, BPO Elks Lodge # 294 of Fairmont and Fairmont Kiwanis Club. He attended Fairmont United Methodist Church.

He is survived by his wife Vera Napple Fleming, sons Bob Fleming and his wife Linda K. and Scott Fleming and his wife Linda S., daughter Valerie Leasure and her husband Charles, sister Patricia Evosevic, sister-in-law Yolanda L. Napple and 11 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren.

Funeral Services on December 9, 2010 were followed by interment at West Virginia National Cemetery at Pruntytown, WV with full military rites conducted by the Marion County Military Veteran's Council. Local arrangements were made by McNeill Mackie Funeral Home.
