George Talmadge Elliott, Sr., age 88 of Lumber Bridge was born August 1, 1935 in Columbus Co. to the late George T. and Martha Elliott and departed this life, June 9, 2024 at his residence.

In addition to his parents, Talmadge is preceded in death by his brothers, Eugene Elliott and Harvey Neal Elliott.

Talmadge leaves to cherish his memories his wife, Betty F. Thompson Elliott of Supply; one son, George Talmadge Elliott (Sharon) of the home; one daughter, Sherry Ann Langley (William) of Supply; four grandchildren; numerous great grandchildren and a host of other relatives and friends.
