Harold Locklear

Harold Locklear, 69, of St. Pauls, died Friday July 30, 2021 at Highsmith-Rainey Specialty Hospital in Fayetteville. He was born in Robeson County on September 27, 1951 to the late Eva Locklear Swisher and Buck Porter. Preceded in death by his parents, Eva Swisher and Buck Porter and his grandparents, Rosie and Lofton Locklear, he is survived by daughters Deanna Gilmore of Lumberton and Keisha Cludy of Vansboro; 7 grandchildren and 5 great grand-children; sisters, Kathy Porter of Fayetteville and Marilyn Porter of Lumberton; and many cousins. Funeral Services are scheduled for Wednesday August 4, 2021 at 2:00 pm at Gray’s Creek Church of God, 4018 Chickenfoot Rd., St. Pauls (in Gray’s Creek off Chickenfoot Rd.), with Pastor Gene Phillips officiating. Visitation will be one-hour prior, from 1:00-2:00 pm at the church. Burial will follow in Oak Ridge Cemetery in St. Pauls. The family is being served by McNeill Mackie Funeral Home of St. Pauls.
