Jackie Brisson Terry

Jackie Brisson Terry, age 76, of Saint Pauls, North Carolina passed away on August 17, 2024. Jackie was born on March 28, 1948 in Robeson County, North Carolina to the late Jack Joe Brisson and the late Lillian Estelle Walker Brisson.

 In addition to her parents, Jackie is preceded in death by her husband, Jimmy George Terry and one sister, Brenda Kay Brisson.

Jackie leaves to cherish her memories her children, Monica Jo Terry Lucks and husband, Tim of Kernersville, Paula Renee Terry and special friend Wanda Strickland and Jonathan George Terry all of Saint Pauls; two grandsons, Tim Michael Lucks, II and Ryan Andrew Lucks both of Charlotte; her special fur babies, Bella and Zoey and the host of other relatives and friends.

Special thanks to her sister-in-law Roseann Hilburn and Bobby, who helped us take care of Mom while in Woodhaven Nursing Center; also a special thanks to those special individuals at Woodhaven Nursing Center that went above and beyond to take care of Mom. 

Our mother loved to laugh, dance and she loved music, including Conway Twitty and Carolina basketball; she also shopping getting her hair and nails done, going with her family on trips to the mountains, the Outer Banks, the beach and out to eat at Calabash. She loved to be around her family and friends. We had a wonderful mother that we will miss so very much, her last days on this earth were difficult, she was weak from the strokes and could no longer eat, drink or talk, but she knew we were by her side; she fought and held on until all three of her children were with her when the good Lord called her home. We hope and pray see her again one day. I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, I have kept the faith.
