James Griffin

James Daniel Griffin, 44 of 994 Great Marsh Church Road, St. Pauls, NC died September 14, 2020. He was born in Cumberland County, NC on May 1, 1976, a son of Jessie and Patricia Britt Griffin. He worked in the maintenance department at Mountaire Farms. Daniel was the most generous person you could know. No matter the situation he was always ready to help. Even in death he was still giving. Daniel’s liver, kidneys’ and heart are going to people in need. His lungs were accepted for research and will, also, help develop cures which will save lives. He loved music, both listening to the music and playing different instruments. He never met a stranger and could make you laugh no matter what the situation. Daniel had a love for his family like no other, truly an unconditional love. A REBEL to the core, he loved riding his motorcycle which made him feel like a free spirit. Preceded in death by his mother Patricia Harrington, father Earl Dowless and sister Christi Renee Griffin, he is survived by his wife, Emily Griffin of Fayetteville; sons, Austin Griffin of Parkton and Dylan Griffin of Fayetteville; his grandchild expected in February; Aunt (Mom) and Uncle (Dad) Larry and Jeanette Lupo of St. Pauls; sister, Linda Lupo Bacon of St. Pauls; brother, Brian Lupo of Dunn; and a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews. A visitation will be held Saturday September 19, 2020 from 7:00 to 9:00 pm at McNeill Mackie Funeral Home of St. Pauls with a funeral service scheduled for Sunday September 20, 2020 at 3:00 pm at The Life Center.
