James McKenzie

James Donald McKenzie, 64, of Lumber Bridge, North Carolina died Thursday March 31, 2016 in Autumn Care of Raeford. He was born in Scotland County, NC November 1, 1951 to the late James K. and Mary Clellon McKenzie. He was a veteran of the US Air Force attaining the rank of Sergeant. He worked in the manufacturing industry as a mechanic. He is survived by his wife, Emma Enlow McKenzie; daughter, Stacey Halstead and her husband Michael; son, James Kevin McKenzie; grandchildren, Mechelle Jones, Tristen Jones, Alexandria McKenzie, Shannon McKenzie, Ashlee McKenzie, and Dayshawn McKenzie; sisters, Teresa Rutledge and Glenda Chason and her husband Mike; niece, Melinda Oxendine; nephew, David Rutledge; and a host of friends. A funeral service is scheduled for Monday April 4, 2016 at 11:00 AM at Sandy Grove Methodist Church, 6800 Arabia Road, Lumber Bridge, NC 28357 with burial to follow in the church cemetery. A visitation will be held at McNeill Mackie Funeral Home of St. Pauls, 319 W. Broad Street, St. Pauls, NC 28384 on Sunday April 3, 2016 from 6:00-8:00 PM.
