James R. "Ricky" Byrne

James Richard "Ricky" Byrne, age 68 of Fayetteville was born October 11, 1954 in Cumberland Co., NC to the late Walter Robinson Byrne, Jr. and Mary Cameron Byrne and departed this life August 10, 2023 at Cape Fear Valley Medical Center in Fayetteville.

In addition to his parents, Ricky is preceded in death by his brother, Robbie Byrne.

Ricky leaves to cherish his memories and mourn his passing his wife, Ruth Watson Byrne of the home; two daughters, Christine Anne McCarty of Liberty Hill, Texas and Renee Elizabeth Byrne of Lafayette, Louisiana; one brother, Tommy Byrne of Fayetteville; one stepdaughter, Joynette Johnson of Fayetteville; three granddaughters, Carlie Renee Caruso, Destiny Renee Robin both of Lafayette, Louisiana and Lilly Johnson of Fayetteville; one grandson, Cody James Robin of Lafayette, Louisiana and a host of other relatives and friends.

Ricky was a proud US Army Veteran.
