Jay Britt (JK)

Jay Britt (JK), age 77 of St. Pauls was born on August 12, 1944 to the late Kelly and Cella Britt in Lumberton, NC and went home to be with the Lord on April 02, 2022 at Duke University Medical Center in Durham. 

 He preceded in death by his parents Kelly and Cella Britt, four brothers Eddie, Leslie, Archie Kelly (aka Buddy) and Harold (aka Sweetie) and two great grandsons Kason & Mason Locklear.

Jay is survived by his loving wife of 58 years Betty Britt of the home; two sisters Ella Rae Jackson of Lumberton, Peggy Walters (Gerald), two brothers, Bert Britt (Neudie) of Ohio and Wayne Britt (Jane) of Shannon. He is lovingly remembered by his two sons, Johnny Britt (Felicia), John Britt and daughter Tammy Graham (Jeffery), 10 grandchildren, Christopher Britt (Jessica), James Britt (Amber), Hannah Simpliciano (Brian), Omyra Jacobs, Rebecca McMillian (Kenny), Holly Graham (Shaun), Emily Graham, Jeremiah Graham, Starr Rouser (David) and Sierra Britt; 14 great grandchildren Kyland, Kensleigh, Logan, Marley, Melodi, Lindsay, Michael, Maci, Emery, Ryleigh, Kelsie, Kasadie, Greyson and Gannon; and a host of relatives and friends.
