Jimmy Smith

Jimmy Herman Smith, 64, of St. Pauls, North Carolina died Friday March 2, 2018. He was born in Robeson County, NC May 30, 1953 to the late Herman Haywood and Ruby Jacqueline Edwards Smith. A US Marine Corps veteran, he worked in the construction industry. He will be greatly missed by his family. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his son, Jason M. Smith. He is survived by a son, Jimmy H. Smith, Jr. and his wife Shan of Anderson, South Carolina; grandchildren, Jason Smith, Jr., Dominick Smith, Nathaniel Smith, Aaron Smith, Holly Smith, and Peijun "Peter" Shang; brother, Tony H. Smith and his wife Nancy;and ex-wife, Shiela B. Hall. A Celebration of Life Memorial Service is scheduled for Friday March 9, 2018 at 3:00 PM at McNeill Mackie Funeral Home of St. Pauls with Pastors Ron Murdock and Steven Keesecker officiating. A Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service, from 2:00-3:00 PM, also at the funeral home. Private family burial will be conducted later.
