John Britt III

John Clyde “Little John” Britt III, 42 of Hope Mills, died Wednesday May 3, 2017. He was born in Cumberland County on September 16, 1974 to John C. “Johnny” Britt Jr. and Katherine C. “Sue” Britt. He is survived by his wife Brenda Norris; 3 daughters of the home, Brittany Britt, Holley Britt and Haley Britt; 2 sons of the home, Michael Norris and John C. Britt IV; one grandson of the home, Bryce Aiden Janowiak; sister, Katherine A. Britt of St. Pauls; grandmother, Catherine L. Carroll of St. Pauls; and many aunts, uncles, cousins, and nieces and nephews. Funeral services are scheduled for Sunday May 7, 2017 at 3:00 PM at Gray’s Creek Church of God, 4018 Chickenfoot Rd., St. Pauls (in Gray’s Creek off Chickenfoot Rd.), with Reverend Gene Phillips officiating. Visitation will be one-hour prior, from 2:00-3:00 PM at the church. Burial will follow the service in the Carroll Family Cemetery. Arrangements by McNeill Mackie Funeral Home of St. Pauls.
