John Lucas Teal, Jr., 84, of St. Pauls, died at his home 3/19/2013. He was born in Chesterfield County, SC on January 8, 1929 to the late John Lucas and Janie McLaurin Teal, Sr. He was the owner of Teals Department Store in St. Pauls. A Memorial Service is scheduled for Saturday March 23, 2013 at 11:00 AM at St. Pauls United Methodist Church with the Rev. Bruce Skipper officiating. Visitation will be held Friday March 22, 2013 from 6:00-8:00 PM at McNeill Mackie Funeral Home in St. Pauls. He is survived by his wife of 63 years, Peggy Ingram Teal; daughters, Karen Tew and Saundra Murphy and her husband Don; son, Richard Tew; grandchildren, Alyssa Tew and Sterling Teal; and sister Lib Ellis. Arrangements by McNeill Mackie Funeral Home of St. Pauls.
