John Michael Wyatt, 63, of Charleston, West Virginia died at his home February 22, 2016. He was born in Oak Ridge, Tennessee January 11, 1953 to the late Franklin Ward and Lois Michaels Wyatt. Relocating to various places around the country, as a son to a Union Carbide Engineer, the family settled in Charleston, West Virginia. He attended West Virginia College with a Business degree and went on to become a Sales Representative for various freight companies. Following the footsteps of his favorite comedians, The Three Stooges, John could never go anywhere without causing a laugh. His humor was contagious and his stories were endless. He loved to work in the yard, read history and other subjects alike, and watch documentaries about practically anything. The biggest fan of the West Virginia Mountaineers you've ever seen, he supported his beloved state, "West-By-God-Virginia". A Beloved Father, Brother, and Son, he will be greatly missed. He is survived by his sons, James Boyce Wyatt and John Ward Wyatt of Fayetteville and Raleigh, North Carolina; sisters, Barbara Reynolds and her husband Larry of Williamsburg, Virginia, Patti Layne and her husband Mike of Sugarland, Texas, and Marti Wyatt of Morgantown, West Virginia; brother, Robert Wyatt and his wife Felicia of Dallas, Texas; nieces, Michelle and Katie Layne of Sugarland, TX, and Hollie Baker of Midwest City, Oklahoma; nephews Michael Lemaster of Midwest City, OK and Franklin Kerr of Christianburg, VA.
