John “Buddy” Hyatt, 52, of Fayetteville died February 14, 2019. He was born December 12, 1966 in Bladen County, NC to the late John Franklin and Margaret Smith Hyatt. He was a carpenter working in the construction industry. An outdoorsman, he really appreciated God’s world. He loved fishing and was really good at cooking what he caught. He was a NASCAR fan and he found joy in helping other people. His family was at the top in importance in his life. Preceded in death by his father and mother, John and Margaret Hyatt, he is survived by his wife, Beverly Harris Hyatt; sons, Logan Ashley Hyatt and Garrison Warrick; sister, Marie Grice and her husband Ricky; brothers, Victor Hyatt and companion Patricia Giambra, and John Charles Hyatt and his wife Kimberly. A visitation is scheduled for Sunday February 17, 2019 from 2:00-3:00 PM at Mt. Pisgah Baptist Church, 3350 Butler Nursery Road, Fayetteville, NC 28306 with a funeral service at 3:00 pm, also at the church, Reverend Scot McCosh officiating. Burial will follow in Big Rock Fish Presbyterian Church. Arrangements by McNeill Mackie Funeral Home of St. Pauls.
