Katherine Rice

Rose Katherine Rice entered the gates of Heaven 11/20/2021 @1:12am. She was born on 05/06/1929 in Bladen County, the daughter of Coy Flowers and Hattie Bell Parker.

Katherine was a retired assistant manager at Maxway. She was a devoted member of Great Marsh Baptist Church in St. Pauls. Katherine loved working with her flowers and singing for the lord.

She leaves behind to cherish her memories her loving children, Dexter Rice and family, Carlus Rice and daughter Katrina Rice. Nephew Franklin Sibbitt. She was the grandmother of twin girls Carey Rice & Erica Rice Hyatt which are the daughters to Dexter Rice. She had great grandchildren Jolon Scott son of Carey Rice and Justin & Miley Hyatt children of Byron & Erica Hyatt.

The celebration of her life will be held at the Great Marsh Baptist Church Cemetery with Pastor Don Goforth officiating.

Services and care for the family were entrusted to McNeill-Legacy Funeral Home
