Kevin Britt

Kevin Neill Britt, 41, of Columbia, South Carolina died Saturday July 2, 2011 at his home. A native of Robeson County, he was born September 12, 1969 to Harold L. and Augusta Britt, Sr. He was a graduate of St. Pauls High School and the University of North Carolina, Pembroke. Kevin had many friends and he loved to make people laugh. He often participated in Drama in both high school and college. He liked to put his own spin on the plays. As a youngster, he was known for his involvement in many neighborhood escapades, to put it mildly. Recently, Facebook had become a way of keeping up with old friends as well as making new ones. Kevin was predeceased by his brother Nelson Carl Britt. He is survived by his parents, Harold and Augusta Britt; brother, Harold L. Britt, Jr;  nephews, Bobby Salvetti and Danual Britt.; niece, Camilla Britt; grand-niece, Brieanna Britt; and many aunts, uncles and cousins. Visitation will be Tuesday July 5, 2011 from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM at McNeill Mackie Funeral Home, St. Pauls with Funeral Services scheduled for Wednesday July 6, 2011 at 2:00 PM at the First Baptist Church of St. Pauls with Reverends Floyd Helms and Pat Hash officiating. Burial will follow in Tolarsville Baptist Church Cemetery.
