Linda Penia Finley, 72, of Tarheel, NC, formerly of Tampa, FL., died Friday January 9, 2015 in Southeastern Hospice House in Lumberton. Private family services will be held at a later date. She was born in Tampa, FL on August 10, 1942 to the late Anthony Lewis and Zelna Gant Penia. She worked as a sporting goods sales representative for her husband's company, J.P. Finley Company, although Mr. Finley says "she was really the boss." In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brothers, Anthony Penia, Jr. and Tim Penia. She is survived by her husband, John (Jack) P. Finley; daughter, Belinda L. Byrd and her husband Kelton; son, David L. Lofley; grandchildren, Dakota Byrd, Luke Byrd, Amy Daniels, and Justin Daniels; sisters, Cindy Mertes and her husband Rich and Lori Anglin; brothers, Bert Penia and his wife Mary Kate and Kenneth Penia and his wife Kris; sisters-in-law, Debbie Smith Penia and Judith Penia; and many nieces and nephews.
