Marjorie A. Hunt

Marjorie A Hunt, 79,  of Tar Heel, North Carolina was born November 5, 1942 in Pennsylvania to the late Robert and Reba Buhrman and departed this life February 15, 2022 at her residence surrounded by her family.

In addition to her parents, Marjorie is preceded in death by her husbands, John Hess, Sr. and John Hunt, Sr.; her children, John Hess, II and Joyce Britt; her siblings, Floyd Buhrman, Terry Buhrman, Rodney Buhrman, Lynn Buhrman and Cecelia Folkenroth.

She leaves to cherish her memories and mourn her passing, her children, Don and Janet Hunt, Leon and Shellena Hunt, Daran and Teresa Hunt all of St. Pauls; Mary Hess of Four Oaks; Lillie and Randall Vanover of Garner; Charles and Becky Hess of Rocky Mount; John Hunt, Jr. and Marylene and Terry Oxendine of Tar Heel; Polly and Robbie Peterson and Sara Hunt all of Stedman and Velton and Heather Hunt of Parkton; her siblings, Anita Reinhardt of Etters, PA; Robert and Judy Buhrman, Harry and Starlene Buhrman and Lawney and Brenda Buhrman all of Dover, PA, Reba Kemper of East Berlin, PA and Randy and Brenda Buhrman of Wellsville, PA; a great host of grandchildren and great grandchildren along with other relatives and friends.

A Celebration of Life Service will be held, Wednesday, February 23, 2022 at 6:00pm at Tar Heel Freewill Baptist Church in Tar Heel with Rev. Thomas Tedder Officiating.
