Mary Helen Barefoot

Mary Helen Barefoot, age 93 of Fayetteville, NC was born March 21, 1930 in Robeson Co. to the late Albert B. and Sarah P. Owens and departed this life to her eternal home on November 27, 2023 at Cape Fear Valley Medical Center in Fayetteville.

In addition to her parents, Helen is preceded in death by her husband, Robert Barefoot; one son Bobby Barefoot; two sisters, Sarah Shaw and Carolyn Howard and a brother, Fred Owens.

Helen leaves to cherish her memories and mourn her passing a granddaughter, Kim Lackey and husband, Lance of Clinton; three great granddaughters, Amber, Kaylee and Madison all of Clinton; two sisters, Charlotte Ivey and Margaret Berry both Fayetteville; several nieces and nephews and a host of other relatives and friends.
