Mildred Sibbette Council of St. Pauls died 9/22/2011 at Southeastern Hospice House in Lumberton, NC. She was the daughter of the late Dennis C. and Margaret Pearl Beard Sibbette. She is survived by 2 sons, David Taylor Council and Charles Kevin Council and his wife Deborah of St. Pauls; grandchildren, Ryan Joel Council of Riverside, CA, Rachael Taylor Council and Andrew David Council of Raleigh, NC; and a sister, Jeanette Sibbette Denton of Manteo. She was employed at Burlington Industries for 42 years and at the time of her retirement she was the Personnel Manager of the Robeson Plant. Visitation is at McNeill Mackie Funeral Home Saturday 9/24/11 from 6-8PM with funeral services scheduled for Sunday 9/25/11 at 2PM at St. Pauls United Methodist Church, Rev. Bruce Skipper officiating. Burial at Gardens of Faith Cemetery will follow.
The family suggests memorials to St. Pauls United Methodist Church, 406 W. Broad St., St. Pauls, NC 28384 in lieu of flowers. Arrangements by McNeill Mackie Funeral Home, St. Pauls, NC.
