Mildred Jane Ganus Ivey, 79, of Fayetteville, formerly of St. Pauls, died Friday September 7, 2018 at Village Green in Fayetteville. She was born in Robeson County on July 30,1939 to the late Charlie Daniel and Ruby Flowers Simmons Ganus. She was a machine operator at the Robeson Textile Plant in St. Pauls. Mildred enjoyed fishing, Carolina Tar Heels Basketball and watching NASCAR great Jimmie Johnson. Her children called her a “lovin’ Mama”. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Teddie Ray Ivey. She is survived by her son Jerry Ivey of St. Pauls; daughters Sherri Rambeaut and Patricia Giambra, both of Spring Lake; 7 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren. A visitation is scheduled for Monday September 10, 2018 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at McNeill Mackie Funeral Home of St. Pauls, with Funeral Services being held Tuesday September 11, 2018 at 1:00 PM, also, at the funeral home. Burial will follow in Oak Ridge Cemetery. The family wishes to thank the staff of Fayetteville HealthKeeperz Hospice.
