Miram Estelle Jackson Watts, 83, of Parkton, NC, went to be with the Lord Monday April 23, 2018. She was born in Robeson County September 22, 1934 to the late William Thomas and Lora Bell Ross Jackson. Valedictorian of the Parkton High School Class of 1952, she worked with Civil Service most of her life, retiring from Ft. Bragg. Of the Baptist faith, she enjoyed Monday evenings with the Royal Ambassadors at Parkton Baptist Church. She enjoyed crossword puzzles and reading, but most of all she loved being Grammy to granddaughter Ally. She is survived by her son, Ricky Watts; granddaughter, Ally Watts; daughter-in-law, Becky Watts; and many nieces and nephews. A Funeral Service is scheduled for Thursday April 26, 2018 at 3:00 PM at McNeill Mackie Funeral Home of St. Pauls with Reverend William Beasley officiating. Burial will follow in Adams Family Cemetery. A Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service, from 2:00-3:00 PM, also at the funeral home. Arrangements by McNeill Mackie Funeral Home of St. Pauls.
