Molly Ann Quarles, 64, of Lumberton died Sunday February 21, 2021. She was born in Cumberland County on July 8, 1956, a daughter of the late Charlie Irvin and Rosie Lee Harding Quarles. She was a CNA (Certified Nursing Assistant) in the health care industry. She was a hard worker who liked people and if she saw a need she would help as much as she could. She loved and was dedicated to her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren. A good cook, she made the best desserts and loved having her grands and great grandkids helping and learning from her. Molly had been a Girl Scout Leader, a Barbie Doll collector and she loved crocheting baby blankets. She had her fishing license and enjoyed fishing, just not the part of putting the bait on the hook or taking the fish off the hook. Most of all she adored her husband, Bill. She loved taking care of him and he loved spoiling her.
In addition to her parents, Charlie and Rosie Quarles, she is preceded in death by brothers, Jessie Joyner, Frank Quarles, Tommy Quarles and Charles Quarles and a sister, Mary Jane. She is survived by her husband Bill Miller; daughters, Rose Gilmore and her husband Harvey of St. Pauls and Michelle Kinlaw and her husband Raymond of White Lake; son, Allen Ivey, Jr. of Lumberton; 10 grandchildren; 15 great grandchildren with one more on the way; sisters, Shirley Lyter and Marie Jordan; and many nieces and nephews.
