Naomi Johnson

Naomi Moody Johnson, age 100, of St. Pauls, North Carolina, went to be with her Heavenly Father on June 12, 2018.

Naomi is survived by her loving children, son, James R. Johnson and wife Daphne of Burlington, North Carolina and daughter, Barbara Allen and husband John of Raleigh, North Carolina.

In addition to her son and daughter, she is also survived by five grandchildren, Deborah (Rex), Cindy (Raymond), Richard (Vickie), Dawn (Michael), Grayson (Amelia); five great grandchildren, Michael, Ashley, Andrew, Samantha, Caitlyn; four great great grandchildren, Ava, Reid, Jase, and Kella Rose.

Naomi was predeceased by her parents, Charles and Fodi Moody; her husband, Lewis; her brothers, Charles, Lemmie; and sisters, Lennie, Mildred, Mary and Martha.

She was a member of St. Pauls Presbyterian Church for over 80 years where she was quite active until failing health. In addition, she was active in the Order of the Eastern Star for 65 years.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Pauls Presbyterian Church in her memory.

McNeill Mackie Funeral Home is entrusted with funeral arrangements. Visitation will be held on Friday, June 15, 2018 from 6 – 8 pm at McNeill Mackie Funeral Home. Funeral Service will take place at St. Pauls Presbyterian Church in St. Pauls, North Carolina, on Saturday, June 16, 2018 at 11:00 am, Pastor P.J. Southam officiating. Bagpipes provided by Gerald Daniel.

Graveside rites will be at Great Marsh Baptist Church cemetery following the service.
