Neill McMillan

Neill A. McMillan, 77, of Parkton, North Carolina died Wednesday 11/3/2010 in the Moses Cone Palliative Care Unit in Greensboro, NC. A native of Robeson County, NC , he was born August 22, 1933 to the late Nathan Johnson and Carra Jackson McMillan. A lifelong resident of Parkton, he retired from the North Carolina Army National Guard and as a Maintenance Engineer with Sears, Roebuck & Co. Mr. McMillan was self-employed in Plumbing, Heating and Electrical Service of McMillan Construction. He was a member and honorary Deacon of the Parkton Baptist Church where he enjoyed the fellowship of lifelong friends and family. He is survived by his wife, Mattie Kathleen of the home; sons, Thomas McMillan and his wife Debra and Steven McMillan and his wife Patricia; daughter, Connie M. Lehman and her husband John; grandchildren, James, Paul and his wife Melissa, Dan and his wife Jamie, Christopher and his wife Samantha, Matt and his wife Sarah, Mark and Jonathan. A Graveside Service is scheduled for November 15, 2010 at 2:00 PM, at Parkton Cemetery, with the Reverend Raymond J. Wade officiating. A public Celebration of the Life of Neill Arch McMillan will follow at the Parkton Baptist Church Fellowship Hut. In honoring his wishes, the family suggests Memorial Contributions be made to the Parkton Baptist Church Building Fund, PO Box 247, Parkton, NC 28371 or the Parkton Rescue Squad , PO Box 268, Parkton, NC 28371.
