Nellie McVicker

Mrs. Nellie Rozier McVicker, 92, of St. Pauls passed away  peacefully Friday March 14, 2014 at Southeastern Hospice House in Lumberton.  Funeral services will be Wednesday March 19, 2014 at 2:00 PM at Great Marsh Baptist Church in St. Pauls, with burial following in the church cemetery. A visitation is scheduled for Tuesday March 18, 2014 from 7:00-9:00 PM at McNeill Mackie Funeral Home of St. Pauls. Nellie was the daughter of the late Reuben and Emma Rozier and the wife of the late Burnice Jackson McVicker. She is survived by her son, Thomas McVicker and his wife Dale of St. Pauls; daughter, Emma Lou Pereira and her husband Manny of Fayetteville; 4 grandchildren, Tammy Henderson of St. Pauls, Greer Moore of Harrells, Scott McVicker of Greenville and Max Pereira of Fayetteville; and 7 great grandchildren. Mrs. McVicker was a homemaker, a loving mother, grandmother and friend. She will be greatly missed and lovingly remembered. The family will receive friends at the home of Tammy Henderson, 78 Whites Drive, St. Pauls.
