Patricia Davis

Patricia “Patsy” Cain Davis, 84, of Tobermory, died Sunday May 3, 2020 at her home. She was born in Bladen County, NC on December 21, 1935 to the late William Colin and Edith Vivian Baxley Cain. She was a nurse with Southeastern Regional Medical Center investing the last13 years of her career as the Night Nursing Supervisor. Prior to that she traveled the East Coast as a cosmetologist consultant and trainer for Koscot cosmetics. A woman of faith, she was a life-long member of Bladen Union Baptist Church. Patsy was described as a farmer’s wife, excellent cook and wonderful provider who loved her family and holiday gatherings. In addition to her parents, William and Edith Cain, she was preceded in death by her husband, Carl Francis Davis and brother, WC “Sonny” Cain Jr. She is survived by her 4 sons, Franklin Davis and his wife Marsha, Richard Davis, Larry Davis and his wife Linda and Herbert Thompson; 6 grandchildren; 7 great grandchildren; sister, Sarah Hedgepeth and multiple nieces and nephews. A graveside funeral service will be held Wednesday May 6, 2020 at 1:00 PM at Bladen Union Baptist Church Cemetery, 2224 W. Bladen Union Church Road, Fayetteville, NC 28306.
