Peggy Bolick

Peggy Ann (Watts) Bolick, 75, of St. Pauls died Sunday November 3, 2019. She was born April 1, 1944 in Cherryville, NC to the late Robert and Mary Ledwell Watts and died at her daughter’s, Penny Holloman’s, home in St. Pauls. She was a proud mother having raised 3 children as a single parent. She worked for Doran Mills and Carolina Mills as a winder, until they closed the doors and then as an upholsterer for La-Z-Boy Manufacturing. Ms. Bolick was an accomplished crafter and loved carousel horses, refinishing furniture and home remodeling. Throughout her life she loved to dance. As a caregiver, she gave selflessly of herself because she loved helping others. In addition to her parents, Robert and Mary Watts, she was preceded in death by a daughter, Barbara Hamrick, grandson, Joshua Wayne Bolick and a brother, Steve Watts. She is survived by her daughter, Penny Holloman and her husband Danny; son, Jody Bolick and his fiancé Katie McDowell; grandchildren, Tabitha DaSilva and her husband Jonathan, Dusty Grooms, Traci Bolick and Sabrinia Bridges and her husband Josh; great grand-children, Destiny Odom, Arieanah Odom, Jackson Cain, Zechariah DaSilva, Jolianna DaSilva, Uriah DaSilva, Chesney Gilosch, Caroline Bridges, and Callie-Ann Bridges; sister, Audrey Scroncel; brothers Gary Watts, Billy Wylie and Ray Wylie; and many friends.
