Penny Sue Jones

Penny Sue Jones, 63 of Harrells, NC passed away on November 23rd, 2022 at her home with her loving husband, Frank at her side.

Penny was born December 10th, 1958 to Joan Smith and Elbert Kinlaw. She treasured sitting in the sun at her home in Harrells, but considered St. Pauls, NC home. She also felt strongly connected to Holden Beach.

Penny had a true passion for children, teaching for decades through out Robeson County, but never was her love more evident than when spoiling her grandbabies, James, Chloe, and Izzie. Her devotion and adoration was only matched in the pride she felt for her son, Frankie. In addition to her love for children, Penny cherished her husband of forty six years, Frank. The two of them would often be found on the dance floor among their Shag Club family.

In addition to her parents, Penny is preceded in death by her stepfather, Richard Smith.

Penny leaves to cherish her memories her husband, Frank Jones; her brother Benny and wife Lynn Kinlaw; her sister Patti and husband Jonathan Bryan; her son Frankie Jones and wife Shannon; and three grandchildren, James, Chloe, and Izzie; her stepmother, Rosalie Kinlaw; her beloved dog Buddy and a host of other relatives and friends.
