Rev. Danny Ray Godfrey age 75, of St. Pauls went home to be with the Lord on Tuesday, June 11, 2024 at UNC Southeastern in Lumberton.

Rev. Godfrey was the pastor of the Red Springs Church for over 40 years. He was a faithful Christian, loving husband and father and proud Army Veteran.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Callie and Mary Godfrey.

Rev. Godfrey is survived by his wife, Shirley Godfrey of the home; three daughters, Robbin Godfrey-Sophia (Josh) of Statesville, Vivian Godfrey and Melissa Bailey (Jimmy) all of St. Pauls; two brothers, Clark Godfrey (Doris) of St. Pauls and Raymond Godfrey of Lumberton; six grandchildren, Skyler, Kaylan, Rachel, Stella, Silas and Sadie and a host of other relatives and friends.

Special thanks to his caregiver, Dorothy Wilkerson.

Services for Rev. Godfrey will be private.
